Today saw us having an early swim in the freshwater pool followed by a warm up in the sea water pool in readiness for the aqua aerobics class.
This was great fun but, as you can see I was on my knees by the end of it, so we had a spell on the sunbeds in a shady area reading and listening to music before getting changed ready for our habitual lunch on what must be one of the nicest bar terrace areas we have known.
After that it was "chill out time" to allow the heat of the day to pass and then I girded my loins in readiness for my first ever yoga session. We passed the time by reading up on some of the other exciting destinations around the world that Thomson offer in the same category as this holiday, from Cuba to Costa Rica and from Mauritius to the Cape Verde Islands.

We've booked a car for 2 days next week. Having been assured by the rep that they did a special offer of pay for 2 days get 3, when the rep phoned surprise, surprise the offer had ended!
They have two lifeguards here - how they afford it, I'm not sure but one of them behaves like a stressed zoo animal pacing round his cage all day. They don't seem to be allowed to do anything other than watch the pool and I can only imagine that it does get to them eventually.
And how about this for a set of solar panels? They're on the roof of the beach club next door. It's a place for people to pay to go in and spend a day there.
And there are half as many again out of shot to the left! |
